Pratt Community Paper Recycling Program

FREE Program: No Rental, No Collection, and No Processing/Disposal Fees

FREE Recycling Bins to Collect Paper: Corrugated boxes will be provided for each classroom and common areas. The boxes are printed with a list of what can and cannot be recycled.

8 Yard Bins Provided: Serviced weekly & have bi-lingual signage (English & Spanish)

Rebate Paid: A graduated rate is paid based on amount of all material recovered.

All Paper and Cardboard can be Mixed Together: Includes cardboard, classroom paper, office paper, magazines, newspapers, hard and soft-back books, phone books, mail, cereal boxes, etc. Tape, labels, and staples are ok on these materials. (May take plastic/metal soon)

FREE Recycling Education for Students: Activities are provide that teachers can incorporate with their lesson plans. Activities, worksheets, posters, Pratt public speakers and recycling tours are available. Pratt also has one certified teacher on staff and more will be added as we grow our program.

Community Involvement: Students can bring paper from home. Neighborhoods support schools.
